At Agartala, we are an ISO 9001: 2015 recognised centre of excellence for providing state-of-the-art dental treatment to patients. We train budding dental surgeon of Tripura through training modules.

This website is for aspiring dental surgeons and patients interested in learning more about Root Canal Treatment and other speciality dental procedures available at The Beautiful Smile (A speciality dental clinic). The other goal of this website is to provide information to budding dental surgeons who are interested in learning more about the clinical endodontic training programmes offered by our initiative.

  • About the Mentor:
    Dr. Epsita Ghosh has passed BDS in 2005 and MDS (Endodontics) in 2017 from Regional Dental College, Guwahati. During her undergraduate training, she was awarded with Colgate-IDA Scholarship for two consecutive years. During her post graduate residency, Dr. Ghosh was selected for thesis grant by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. She has won the best paper award in 19th Scientific Congress of Asian Pacific Endodontic conference and 18th IACDE & IES Convention in 2017 held in New Delhi. She has also won the Dr. Dulal Ch. Ghosh memorial award by securing 1st position in the XIII Annual Dental Conference of IDA-TSB. There are 10 numbers of Scientific Research publications in various national and International Journals to her credit. She has joined Tripura Health services in 2008 by securing 2nd position in TPSC exam.

Course objectives:


To update knowledge and skill in Endodontics from the clinical perspective.
To enhance endodontic skill with microscope and advance techniques
To refine clinical skill working on patients by imparting clinical acumen.

    13. Clinical Classes:


    1. Identification of instruments
    2. Use of loupe and microscope
    3. Rubber Dam Application
    4. Access opening on Extracted teeth
    5. BMP (With Endomotor & Apex Locator)
    6. Obturation

      Guidelines for Essential Endodontics


      1. Each batch is limited to a specific number of people. This is to ensure that each and every participant receives high-quality training and engagement.
      2. The centre will provide both consumables and non-consumables.
      3. The study materials are included in the mentorship programme price
      4. Kindly bring the following materials with you:
        1. A total of 10 extracted teeth is needed for hands on training. Avoid mounting the teeth and soaking them in formalin or H2O2 for long periods of time
        2. NSK type contra angle airotor hand piece with chuck.
        3. For personal use, a white lab coat and are required with N95 mask and PPE kit.
        4. A passport-sized photograph is needed for the certificate which will be awarded from the centre.
